My favorite thing about photographs is that they let you revisit a moment, a thought, a feeling. My least favorite thing about photographs is that you can never truly relive those snapshot seconds they capture, but they make you want to try to anyway.
When I got back from Italy, I uploaded all my photographs onto my computer and watched each one as they flashed across the screen. Glancing through my time in Florence was bittersweet, but it was a reminder that even if I don’t find my way back anytime soon, I still have proof I was there, and I explored every crack of the city I could find, and I loved every moment of it.
So here’s a brief overview of the second part of my time in Florence, told in photographs.
